39 year old Joanna Huey, of Livingston, gets a field sobriety test.

2 Vehicle Accident, Driver Arrested for DWI, LIVINGSTON, February 22, 2021 - At approximately 6:30 pm on February 22, 2021, a red 2019 Chevy Silverado, driven by Juan Paredes, 29, of Livingston, was north-bound on the US-59 feeder road (Next to EastTex Telephone) when he was struck from behind by a white 2009 Kia Forte, driven by Joanna Huey, 39, of Livingston. Huey clipped Paredes' rear driver's side fender. This caused Paredes' vehicle to leave the pavement to the right and go into a ditch. Huey's vehicle shot left across the median, across the north-bound lanes of 59, and slid into the center median between the north and south-bound lanes. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Livingston Police Department. Officer Jared Zolman conducted a field sobriety test on Huey and placed her under arrest for driving while intoxicated. Fortunately, there were no injuries other than bumps and scratches. Both Vehicles were recovered by Dan's Towing and Recovery and will be stored in Livingston.
