Man Rolls Vehicle, Arrested for DWI, LIVINGSTON, February 23, 2020 - At approximately 11:45 pm on February 22, 2020, a red BMW-325i, driven by 56 year old Brady Johnson, of Goodrich, was east-bound on US-190 West (just east of Pedigo Furniture). Johnson's vehicle left the pavement to the left, entered the median and rolled coming to rest upside down near the west-bound lanes of 190. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Corporal Austin McCracken and Deputies Sharon Brookes and Garrett Childers with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Trooper Allen Stanton with the Texas Highway Patrol. Johnson crawled from his vehicle and refused medical treatment. Trooper Stanton attempted to execute a field sobriety test on Johnson and Johnson nearly fell down on his first task. Johnson then declined to try anymore sobriety tasks. Johnson was placed under arrest and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. His vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.

After nearly falling down on his first attempt at a task for a field sobriety test, and then refusing any further tasks, Trooper Stanton placed Johnson under arrest for DWI.
Johnson's vehicle was turned upright and recovered by Ken's Towing.
