Driver Totals Mustang off US-59, Alcohol Suspected, SEVEN OAKS, February 19, 2012 - Shortly after 7 am on February 19, 2012, a dark blue 2000 Ford Mustang driven by Julio Cutzal-bal, 28, of Longview, was south-bound on US-59 in Seven Oaks when his vehicle left the road to the right, rolled through the muddy grass and slammed into a small concrete utility building totaling the car. A local business owner saw the accident and called the Polk County Sheriff's Office. Troopers Donny Akers and Kevin Burman with the Texas Highway Patrol were dispatched. Trooper Burman found Cutzal-bal walking on 59. Burman then gave Cutzal-bal a ride back to the scene of the accident. In the meantime, Trooper Akers (who's investigating the accident) was at the scene investigating. As it turns out, Cutzal-bal admitted to being the driver and that he had consumed 10 beers before the accident. Trooper Akers transported Julio Cutzal-bal to Polk County Jail and charged him with suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Additionally, Cutzal-bal was charged with fleeing the scene of an accident, no insurance, no driver's license, and no seatbelt. Traffic was not blocked during investigation and cleanup. The vehicle was recovered by Riley Wrecker Service out of Corrigan where the vehicle will be stored.

The car was totaled, but the little building absorbed the impact and held up nicely.
