Goodrich Lady Hospitalized in Accident, GOODRICH, February 15, 2010 - At approximately 6:13 pm on February 15, 2010, a red 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by Drue Jarvis, 68, of Goodrich, came to a stop sign on the north-bound side of US-59 in Goodrich at the FM-1988 overpass. Neal's vehicle broadsided Jarvis' vehicle. Jarvis' vehicle spun around coming to rest facing east while Neal's vehicle came to a stop at the point of impact. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Deputy Billy Duke, DPS Trooper David Morris, and Trooper Kevin Burman. Jarvis was carefully removed from her vehicle by EMS Personnel and transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital by ambulance. Neal and his passenger, and Jarvis' passenger (husband Howard) were all physically okay. The intersection was blocked during investigation and cleanup. Both parties had insurance.
