Sergeant Rob Thomas (wearing hat) and Deputy Vance Berry were first to arrive.

Livingston Woman Hospitalized in Rollover Accident on 190 West, ONALASKA, February 12, 2009 - At approximately 1:25 am on February 12, 2009 a tan 2005 Saturn ION driven by Madelena Charlene Peavy, 32, of Livingston was east-bound on US-190 West near Onalaska when her vehicle allegedly left the road to the left, she then over corrected and cut back right and left the road to the right.  Peavy's vehicle rolled 1 time and came to rest upside down in a drainage area on the front lawn of Lake Sheet Metal.  According to witnesses, Peavy crawled from her vehicle and laid in the grass.  Polk County Sheriff's Sergeant Rob Thomas and Deputy Vance Berry were dispatched to the scene.  Also Americare Ambulance Service, the Onalaska Volunteer Fire Department and DPS Trooper Brent Henry.  Peavy was treated at the scene by EMS Personnel from Americare and transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital with unspecified injuries.  Traffic was not blocked during the investigation and cleanup.  According to Trooper Henry, Peavy could be issued a citation for failure to maintain a single lane.  A rollback wrecker from George White & Sons Wrecker Service recovered Peavy's vehicle and it will be stored at White & Sons Wrecker Service in Onalaska.  The scene was cleared shortly before 3 am.
