Failure to Yield, Accident Hospitalizes 2, LIVINGSTON, February 9, 2021 - Shortly before noon on February 9, 2021, a white 2007 Cadillac Escalade, driven by Maria R. Pineda Montantes, 45, of Livingston, was pulling out of the parking lot of Livingston Elementary School (across the street from SHECO). As Montantes pulled across the east-bound lanes of 190 East, she was broad sided by a maroon 2017 Ford Fusion, driven by 61 year old Nola Luttrelm, of Livingston. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department, and Officer Scott Paske with Livingston Police Department. Officer Paske was assisted by other Officers from LPD. Both Montantes and Luttrelm were transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Traffic on the east-bound side of 190 was blocked during investigation and cleanup. Luttrelm allegedly had a red light when the accident occurred and was cited for the accident. Montantes was cited for no driver's license. Montantes' vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing while Luttrelm's vehicle was recovered by Dan's Towing (both will be stored in Livingston).
