A loaded dump truck turned over on FM-350 South at Tempe Creek (about 4 pm).
Loaded Dump Truck Turns Over, LIVINGSTON, January 27, 2017 - At approximately 4 on January 27, 2017, a dump truck with Richardson Trucking, driven by Michael Tobin, 51, of Livingston, was south-bound on FM-350 South (near Tempe Creek) when his truck left the pavement to the right. Tobin overcorrected to the left, struck the guardrail over Tempe Creek and turned over. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Deputy Victor White with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department and Troopers Ashlee McBride and Chris Cain with the Texas Highway Patrol. Tobin was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. All traffic on 350 South was blocked. At time of press, 6 pm, the road remains blocked. A heavy duty wrecker from Clifton Chevrolet out of Corrigan is on the scene to clean up the mess. The accident remains under investigation.

The dump truck caused extensive damage to the guard rail at Tempe Creek.
The cab of the dump truck was obliterated.
51 year old Michael Tobin was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital.
