Major Accident Hospitalizes 2, 1 Flown Out, LIVINGSTON, January 25, 2018 - At approximately 12:02 pm on January 25, 2018, a tan 2016 GMC Yukon, driven by Glenda Davison, 57, of Livingston, was north-bound on North Washington. As Davison proceeded through the intersection of North Houston, a 1994 Toyota pickup, driven by Rosendo Gasca Vera, 65, of Chester, was south-bound on Washington and attempted a left turn onto Houston in front of Davison. Davison's vehicle slammed into Vera's vehicle. Vera's vehicle spun around and came to rest on the pavement facing north. Davison's vehicle bounced right and came to rest at the traffic light pole. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department, and Officers Jason Thomas and Brandon Brewer with the Livingston Police Department. Additionally, State Troopers showed up to assist. Davison and her passengers were physically okay. Vera and his female passenger both sustained injuries. Both were transported to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with injuries (the passenger was flown to Conroe Regional Hospital). Traffic on Houston and Washington was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup. Vera is facing a citation for failing to yield at a left turn. Both vehicles were recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.

57 year old Glenda Davison, of Livingston, was driving this 2016 GMC Yukon.
65 year old Rosendo Gasca Vera was driving this 1994 Toyota pickup.
Vera's passenger sustained a head injury and other major injuries.
Both vehicles were recovered by Ken's Towing.
