22 year old Robert Lucas of Point Blank rolled this 2002 Chevy Tahoe 3 times.
Driver Rolls Vehicle Multiple Times, Alcohol Suspected, LIVINGSTON, January 25, 2013 - A gold 2002 Chevy Tahoe driven by Robert Lucas, 22, of Point Blank was east-bound on US-190 West. Lucas entered a curved too fast as his vehicle left the pavement to the right and rolled 3 times. Lucas' vehicle came to rest upright. Lucas was ejected during the rollover. Witnesses called the Polk County Sheriff's Office. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Trooper David Flowers with the Texas Highway Patrol. Lucas was found in the grass by a Deputy who was the first to arrive. Lucas admitted to emergency personnel that he had been drinking and appeared to be intoxicated. Lucas was loaded onto an ambulance and transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Robert Lucas is facing the charge of driving while intoxicated and could be facing other charges. His vehicle was recovered by Harwood wrecker service and will be stored at 101 Harwood Drive in Livingston. The scene was cleared by 3:30 am.
Lucas was ejected during the rollover and seemed to have lost his pants.
Lucas appeared to be intoxicated and admitted to emergency personnel that he had been drinking.
Trooper David Flowers investigates the accident.
Lucas was transported by ambulance to Livingston Memorial Hospital.
