Emergency personnel tend to 38 year old Billy Lafour, of Livingston.
Motorcycle Crashes, Driver Flown to Conroe, BLANCHARD, January 24, 2015 -  At approximately 12:20 pm on January 24, 2015 a Yamaha V Star motorcycle was south-bound on FM-2457 near Pinckard Road.  According to witnesses the driver, Billy Lafour, 38, of Livingston tried to stop when a red Chevy  1500 pickup in front of him slowed down to make a turn.  Lafour lost control of his motorcycle as the bike turned over.  Lafour was ejected and laid out on the pavement.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Scenic Loop Volunteer Fire Department, Livingston VFD, Deputy Cody Hardy with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Troopers Barret Duren and Ashley McBride with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Lafour was treated at the scene and transported by ambulance to a landing zone on 2457 (next to Blanchard Baptist Church).  Lafour was transferred to the care of personnel with PHi Air Medical and flown to Conroe Regional Hospital with undisclosed injuries.  According to Trooper Duren, no citations have been issued as the accident remains under investigation.  Lafour's motorcycle was recovered by friends and family.
