39 year old Bridget Lester, of Cleveland, was driving this 2002 Ford Expedition south on US-59. Lester attempted a left turn to a crossover to the north-bound side and turned directly in front of another south-bound vehicle and was broadsided.
3 Vehicle Cluster Crash, GOODRICH, January 23, 2020 - At approximately 9:05 am on January 23, 2020, a tan 2002 Ford Expedition, driven by Bridget Lester, 39, of Cleveland was south-bound on US-59 near the south end of Loop 393.  Lester was in the slow lane (right side) and suddenly decided to make a left across the fast lane.  When Lester made her sudden left, she pulled directly in front of a tan 2012 Ford F-150 driven by Ashton Logsdon, 24, of Nacogdoches.  Logsdon was in the fast lane not far behind Lester.  Logsdon's pickup broadsided Lester's vehicle.  The impact caused Lester to continue left, and enter the north-bound side of 59 where she struck the rear half of a black Ford F-150, driven by Luis Picon, 31, of Houston.  Lester continued across the north-bound lanes, left the pavement, continued up an embankment and crashed into a barbed wire fence.  Logsdon's pickup entered the center median and came to rest at the edge of the north-bound lanes.  Picon's vehicle slid around and came to rest facing west partially on the road and partially on the shoulder.  Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Corporal Mark Dubose with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Troopers John Allen, Colton McQuilkin, Donny Akers, and Corporal Ramey Bass with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Fortunately there were no serious injuries.  Lester was transported by Ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial as a precautionary measure.  Logsdon and Picon were physically okay.  One lane of traffic was blocked during investigation and cleanup.  Lester was cited for the illegal turn and no insurance.  Picon was cited for no driver's license.  Logsdon's and Lester's vehicles were both recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.  Picon's vehicle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker and will be stored in Livingston.

Special thank you:  Ken with Ken's Towing
