Navroz Jivani's 2007 Lexus knocked down this power line.l
Driver Totals Lexus on Scenic Loop, LIVINGSTON, January 23, 2010 - At approximately 12:55 am on January 23, 2010, a white 2007 Lexus LS450L driven by Navroz H. Jivani, 51, of Spring, was south-bound on FM-3126 when he entered a curve too fast. Jivani's vehicle left the road to the left and slammed into a telephone pole (knocking it down), struck several trees and finally came to rest facing the woodline. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Scenic Loop Volunteer Fire Department, Deputy Jamie Buie with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and multiple DPS Troopers including Trooper Kevin Burmin. FM-3126 was completely blocked by emergency vehicles as emergency personnel worked the scene. Amazingly, Jivani crawled out of his vehicle unharmed. Lines from the knocked down telephone laid on the ground and crossed over 3126. The volunteer firemen, led by Chief Donald Marlow, cut the lines when they were told that it was okay by SHECO. A SHECO representative was dispatched to the scene. Jivani had insurance and was issued a citation for unsafe speed. A rollback wrecker from LakeView Wrecker Service recovered Jivani's vehicle and it will be stored a LakeView Storage in Livingston. The scene was cleared by 2 am.
