Tire Blowout Causes Rollover, LIVINGSTON, January 22, 2024 - At approximately 10:25 am on January 22, 2024, a silver 2008 Dodge Caliber driven by Dewayne Stuebe, 46, of Livingston, was north-bound on US-59 just south of the Livingston City Limits. Stuebe's driver's side rear tire had a blowout. The blowout caused Stuebe to lose control of his vehicle. His vehicle left the pavement to the right, continued into a ditch, jumped a culvert and rolled. Stuebe's vehicle came to rest upright in the parking lot of Economy Inn. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Corporal Ramey Bass and Sergeant Sam Lattner with the Texas Highway Patrol. Stuebe and his passenger were both transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Traffic was not blocked during investigation and cleanup. No citations were issued. Stuebe's vehicle was recovered by Dan's Towing out of Livingston.
