22 year old Joseph Albert Criswell, Jr. was driving this 2006 Chevy pickup and lost control on Loop 116.
Driver Sustains Serious Injuries in Single Vehicle Accident, NEW WILLARD, January 20, 2016 - Shortly before 12 noon on January 20, 2016, a dark green 2006 Chevy pickup, driven by Joseph Albert Criswell, Jr., 22, of Livingston, was south-bound on Loop 116 a short distance north of the mulch plant where he's employed. Criswell's vehicle left the pavement to the left and slammed (passenger's side) into tree. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Trooper Donny Akers with the Texas Highway Patrol. Criswell was treated at the scene and transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. Traffic on Loop 116 was not blocked during investigation and cleanup. No citations have been issued as the accident remains under investigation. A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Criswell's vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
