Sixteen Year Old Corrigan Girl Killed in Tyler County Accident, Another Hospitalized, TYLER COUNTY, January 17, 2012 - At approximately 11:52 am on January 15, 2012, a 2000 Ford Mustang driven by Victoria Michelle Foster, 16, of Corrigan, was westbound on FM-1745 (approximately 8 miles west of Colmesneil).  Foster apparently lost control of her vehicle and left the road to the south side and slammed into a tree.  Foster was transported to Christus Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont where she passed away and was pronounced dead at 11:55 am the next day.  Also hospitalized was another sixteen year old Corrigan girl who was transported to East Texas Medical Center in Tyler.  The passenger is reportedly in good condition and only suffered cuts and bruises.  The accident was investigated by Trooper Travis B. Odom of the Texas Highway Patrol.
