Woman Passes Away from Injuries in Car Accident, CONROE, January 8, 2019 - The victim of a recent two vehicle accident in the Spring Creek Area has passed away from injuries sustained during the accident. Shirley Taylor, 90, of Livingston, passed away this morning (01/08/19) at Conroe Regional Hospital. Four days earlier (01/04/19), Taylor was south-bound on Walding Road in her 2001 Chevy Malibu and pulled onto 190 West and failed to yield to an east-bound 2014 Ford Escape. Taylor's vehicle was broadsided on the passenger's side. Taylor was flown to Conroe Regional where she would eventually pass away.

2 Vehicle Major Accident, SPRING CREEK, January 4, 2019 - At approximately 2:05 pm on January 4, 2019, a tan 2001 Chevy Malibu, driven by Shirley Taylor, 90, of Livingston, was south-bound on Walding Road. Taylor came to the intersection of US-190 West and pulled out onto 190 but failed to yield to an east-bound blue 2014 Ford Escape, driven by Stacy White, 31, of Goodrich. White's vehicle broadsided Taylor's passenger side. Both vehicles came to rest on the east-bound shoulder of 190. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene, along with Deputy Terri Mayer with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Troopers John Allen and Kevin Burman with the Texas Highway Patrol. Taylor was transported by ambulance to helipad and flown by medical helicopter to Conroe Regional Hospital with injuries. White was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Traffic on 190 was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup. No citations have been issued at this time (pending an investigation). Stacy White's vehicle was recovered by Fawbush Wrecker Service and will be stored in Goodrich. Taylor's was recovered by a wrecker service out of Crocket.

31 year old Stacy White, of Goodrich, was east-bound in this 2014 Ford Escape when she broadsided Taylor's vehicle.
Stacy White was transported to CHI Livingston Memorila with non-life-threatening injuries.
The vehicles came to rest on 190 at Pinckard Road.
White's vehicle was recovered by Fawbush Wrecker Service.
