The dangers of driving at a high rate of speed (especially on unpaved roads) is something that many young drivers learn the hard way.
Rollover Accident in South Polk County, SCHWAB CITY, January 5, 2012 - At approximately 8 pm on January 4, 2012, a red Ford F-250 driven by a local 16 year old was north-bound on Somerall Road (off FM-943).  The young driver lost control and rolled his pickup and was ejected in the process.  Amazingly, the driver only suffered a broken collar bone and was transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital by private vehicle.  Trooper Darwon Evans was dispatched to investigate.  The driver was cited for unsafe speed.  The pickup was recovered by LakeView Wrecker Service and will be stored in Livingston.
