A 350 Cab (Dodge Caravan) rolled and came to rest upright in Hobby Park in Moscow. The driver and passenger were ejected during the rollover.
2 Vehicle Accident Turns Fatal, MOSCOW, January 3, 2018 - At approximately 12:30 pm on January 3, 2018, a 350 Cab Taxi, driven by Pamela Rose Chandler, 70, of Livingston, was north-bound on US-59 with a passenger (Margaret Ann Davis, 67, of Corrigan). Chandler (for some reason) drifted from the north-bound lanes into the south-bound lanes of 59. Chandler's vehicle struck the driver's side (glancing blow) of a Brown 2015 Chevy full size pickup, driven by Darrell Milton Harman, 66, of Onalaska. Chandler's vehicle continued left and exited the pavement. Her vehicle rolled and came to rest upright in the parking area of Hobby Park. Both Chandler and Davis were ejected during the rollover. Both came to rest in the parking area. Harman's vehicle lost it's rear driver's side tire and drive shaft as his pickup slid off of 59 and came to rest on Rowe Lane at 59. Allegiance and Americare Ambulance Services were dispatched to the scene along with Polk County Deputies Lieutenant Andy Lowrie and Jacob Hopper, the Corrigan Volunteer Fire Department, and Troopers John Allen and Darwon Evans with the Texas Highway Patrol. Chandler was transported by Ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Davis was transported by Ambulance to CHI Lufkin Memorial with apparent major injuries. Harman was physically okay. Sadly, Davis passed away a short time later. One lane of traffic on the south-bound side of 59 was blocked during investigation and cleanup. This accident remains under investigation by the Texas Highway Patrol. Chandler will likely be cited for causing the accident. Chandler's vehicle was recovered by Clifton Chevrolet out of Corrigan, while Harman's vehicle was recovered by George White & Son's Wrecker Service out of Onalaska.
