Two Vehicle Accident on 59 Sends Two to Hospital, LIVINGSTON, March 1, 2008 - Two vehicles collided on Highway 59 North on March 1, 2008 at around 6:15 pm. A red 2008 Ford F-150 driven by Charles Rodriguez, 21, of Corpus Christi collided with a dark blue 1989 Chevy 2 door pickup driven by James Thompson, 27, of Livingston. There was an ambulance from Lone Star EMS and an ambulance from Americare EMS. The drivers of both vehicles were transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital by ambulance. There were three deputies from Polk County Sheriff's Deparment and DPS Trooper Larry Pitts. There was a rollback wrecker from Harwood Wrecker Service and a rollback wrecker from Fawbush Wrecker Service. The cause of the accident is under investigation. At time of press, the condition of the drivers of the vehicles has not been revealed.
