Richard Vincent Prebis, 52, of Livingston
Crime Stopper Tip Helps Detectives Nail Alleged Burglar, LIVINGSTON, November 13, 2017 - On October 24, 2017, a burglary was reported to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. The victim reported someone had broken into his business and took some money along with other products. The business was the Airport Quick Stop located off FM 350 S.
  
The Polk County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigative Division launched an investigation into the matter. A Crime Stoppers report was generated with a picture of the suspect, from the surveillance video at the store.  Detectives received a tip of the possible identity of the suspect and where he resided.
  
Detectives were able to locate and identify Richard Vincent Prebis, 52, of Livingston, as the suspect who burglarized the store.  Prebis has been arrested and currently housed in the Polk County Jail.
  
Sheriff Kenneth Hammack, the Criminal Investigation Division, along with the patrol division, would like to thank the general public for the tips and information that lead to the arrest of Prebis.
