Heroin, Meth, Forged Checks, and a Handgun, LIVINGSTON, October 22, 2018 - On October 20, 2018 at approximately 5:30P.M., Livingston Police Department Officers conducted an investigation in the 1600 block of West Church Street in reference to missing child which was located inside a nearby business. Officers were still in the area patrolling when they observed a white male who was consistent with a description given by a local business of a subject committing Forgeries. Officers made contact with white male and two other subjects sitting in a vehicle. Officers identified the subject as Michael Preston Jenkins, 34, Lufkin Texas. Officer identified other subjects in the vehicle as Justin Edward Keith 33, of Lufkin, and Donna Gene Hack 46, also of Lufkin. Officers conducted a pat search of Michael Preston Jenkins and located a 9mm handgun concealed in the front of his pants. During the investigation officers recovered a approximately 15 grams of Methamphetamines, Heroin, and Forged Checks. All three are facing felony charges.

Unlawful Possession Firearm By Felon (Felony)
Unlawful Carrying Of Handgun By License Holder / Alcohol Premises (Felony)
Failure To Identify-Giving False Information (MB)
Justin Edward Keith and Donna Gene Hack were both charged with the following:
