Suspicious Circumstances in Simultaneous Mobile Home Fires, SCENIC LOOP, March 28, 2019 - At approximately 3:40 am on March 28, 2019, two mobile home fires were reported to the Polk County Sheriff's Office. Scenic Loop and Livingston Volunteer Fire Departments were dispatched to the scene, along with Sergeant Adam Norris and Deputy Nicole McLean with the Polk County Sheriff's Office. A crew from Sam Houston Electric Cooperative was dispatched to deal with any possible power lines that might have been burned in the fire. An investigation into the fires is underway by the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
