Driver Slams Into Large Pine Tree, MOSCOW, July 29, 2019 - At approximately 6:45 am on July 29, 2019, a black 2012 Mercedes Benz ML-350, driven by Stephen Bailey, 70, of Livingston, was north-bound on US-59. Bailey's vehicle left the pavement to the right and slammed into a large pine tree (about a half mile south of FM-62). His vehicle bounced off the tree and slid to the shoulder of the road. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Corrigan Volunteer Fire Department, Officers Terry Valka and Jason Porter with Corrigan Police Department, and Troopers Donny Akers, Ashlee White, and Zach Lenderman with the Texas Highway Patrol. Bailey was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. His vehicle was recovered by Riley Wrecker Service out of Corrigan. It is not yet known why Bailey's vehicle left the pavement. This accident remains under investigation by the Texas Highway Patrol.

70 year old Stephen Bailey, of Livingston, was driving this Mercedes Benz ML350 north on US-59 when his vehicle left the pavement to the right and slammed into a pine tree. The vehicle bounced off the pine tree and slid to the shoulder (Trooper Zach Lenderman pictured at left).
Bailey struck this large pine tree. The impact ripped off a front wheel.
Bailey was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital.
Bailey's vehicle was recovered by Rilley's Wrecker Service out of Corrigan.
