Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Troopers Ramey Bass and Donny Akers with the Texas Highway Patrol, and Deputy Mark Dubose with the Polk County Sheriff's Office. Allie Haines managed to crawl out of the wreckage and was treated by personnel from Americare at the scene before being released. According to Trooper Bass, Haines was cited for minor in possession of alcohol and failure to drive in a single lane. A rollback wrecker from Fawbush Body Shop recovered Haines' vehicle and it will be stored in Goodrich. The scene was cleared by 8:20 am.
