Phillip Allen Fielder looked directly at our camera and cussed out the editor of PolkCountyToday.com
Phillip Allen Fielder Gets His 4th DWI, Cusses Out Editor of PolkCountyToday.com, SCENIC LOOP, April 24, 2012 - At around 7 pm on April 24, 2012, an automobile accident was reported to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.  A vehicle had crashed in the subdivision of Nugent's Cove.  Deputies with the Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the scene along with Trooper David Flowers with the Texas Highway Patrol.  According to witnesses, the driver fled the scene on foot.  Deputy David Mitchell with the Polk County Sheriff's Office caught up with the driver, Phillip Allen Fielder, 47, of Livingston.  Fielder was brought back to the scene and he admitted that he was the driver and admitted that he had consumed 12 cans of beer prior to the wreck.  Fielder has 3 prior DWIs and this would be his fourth and his vehicle is reportedly totaled.  Three or more DWIs is a felony which requires a mandatory blood withdrawal.  Trooper Flowers drove Fielder to Livingston Memorial Hospital where our cameras were waiting.  When Fielder was removed from the Vehicle by Sergeant William Jerry, Fielder cussed out PolkCountyToday.com Editor, Willie Openshaw, and used obsene hand gestures.  In addition to his 4th DWI, Fielder was cited for no driver's license and no insurance.  He was booked into Polk County Jail.  Fielder's vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.

Special thank you:  Ken from Ken's Towing

On April 6, 2012, Fielder out of the blue drove up to a sheriff's deputy at Scenic Loop and recieved 4 citations.

On June 23, 2010, Fielder rolled his vehicle and fled the scene of that accident and was caught.

Sergeant William Jerry escorted Fielder into the Hospital.
After his mandatory blood withdrawal, Fielder came out flipping off our cameras and cussing us (but at least he was smiling).
